My coolant overflow bottle is cracked and Im looking to replace it. I was looking at the circuit sports aluminum tank, but, after my latest 3 hour bleeding escapade Im now looking a different direction. Has anyone used the Greddy or Sard breather tank? Is it as functional as it claims to be?

Heres an example, the Sard is pretty much the same, but a 100 bucks more.

You have the right idea, but breather tanks are not meant to be overflow bottles .

Basically, you mount the breather tank in between the radiator & overflow tank & connect the bottom portion of the tank to the lower radiator hose (this keeps air from being sucked into the radiator when it cools down).

This basically keeps air bubbles from forming or getting sucked in when the radiator sucks back in coolant (in cases where it sends some coolant to the overflow).

You'll still need an overflow tank, which we also carry .
