Just started watching season 1. Bryan Cranston is amazing. The story, of a good guy turned drug dealer, reminds me of Weeds, but with more action, more compelling characters, and more humor.

When the semester ends I need to start watching Mad Men.

I've been meaning to watch this from the beginning for a while.

I caught an episode a couple weeks ago, though, and it was really disappointing. It reminded me of a lot of modern TV in that it was obviously TRYING to be atmospheric, but just ended up being flat. Nothing really happened...character interaction was dull, there was very little music. It almost felt like it was trying to be a reality TV show. Not what I was hoping for at all.

If you've seen Dexter, it seems to follow the same outline. A couple episodes of VERY slow building, then someone dies, something explodes, something happens. It can feel a bit tedious but the payoff is huge.

This is the best show on tv. Start from season 1, and work your way up. You won't regret it.

Yes, it is an awesome show.

The first season is particularly good, watching Walt go from humble highschool chemistry teacher with a Nobel prize in chemistry who works at a car wash, to a bad a** gangster.

The other seasons are good too, but the first season you really see that guy change.

This last season, while still worth watching has slowed down quite a bit. It has begun covering like one event per episode. Still entertaining, but you just want them to move the story along some more so you can see what happens.

Is that Rogue? She had a respectable cup size in X-Men...
