Ok, well after happily spending Shell's money for the past couple weeks my motor will be back together and boosting hard soon. I am going to go with the no break, "break in" after talking with Ivan and also see that Fiznat is going that route. My only question is, what about my new clutch. It's a Spec STG 4 and I dunno if taking it to the dyno is going to hurt it later on in life. I am going to be running 24+psi w/ the V3 cams (when they get here) so the car will be making a lot of power. I just need it to hold when I drag race/autox later on in it's life. Anyone have any suggestions?

from what i know, dont dump or drop the clutch when driving on a new clutch obviolsy!. but when you get to the dyno just be sure to let it enguage smoothly through all the gears and it should be good for dyno pulls.

I've always heard 500miles but the longer you wait the better.I drove 800miles one weekend then I started having fun again.

Most clutch manufacturers recommend mild street driving for 300-400 miles before hard driving. Trust me, its for the best. My stock replacement didn't get enough of a break in and it drove like poop. Very chattery. Main thing to watch for is hard shifting or as mentioned above, dumping.
