breakdow on putting in new ka24e into 240

ok has anyone run into any major probs when puttin in a ka24e into your 240sx. all iam puttin in is the motor, the original transmission will stay there. anything to look out for?

Is the car an orig ka24de?

My adivec is pull out motor and trnany together.Then reassemble outside the car.Mark your hoses.I removed my radiator to be safe.

if it had the same motor then it shouldnt be trouble at all. should be pretty east swap.

yeah same ka24e motor, it just iam the one whos timing chain guide flew into my chain, and made it jump a tooth and bend my valves,BUT ANYWAY yeah ill remove the radiator and hood. the only thing holdin the motor to the car is the mounts right? just unplug and mark all sensors... anything else??? also i want to remove lots of junk the car dont need, any sugg???? thanks people---you help me alot

Key thing is vaccum hoses....Sensors are easy.They are color coded and the engine harness only goes one way and only has like an inch of slack so you can only connect to one plug. Worry abotu vaccum hoses and your fuel line.My car didn't run for 6 months because fuel lines were backwards.
