break question! HELP!!

i bought the wrong rotors and cant get my money back! so i figured i would jus take the abs calipers of my friends parts car can i do that?all input is welcomesorry its in the wrong section!!

why is this in the motor specific forum? this doesnt have anything to do with the KA.

and if you got the wrong rotors, why are you trying to use ABS calipers? theyre different things completely.

i didnt get a reply from the break section so i posted it here. i got abs rotors by mistake and i cant return them so i thought jus change over to abs calipers and then everything will work.

this performance shop in san jose it was a special order so they wont take them back, even tho i said non abs

alright. its not the rotors you have to worry about.

im pretty sure the rotors are the same, its the caliper thats different between abs and non abs. so you shouldnt put abs calipers on a non-abs car. if you dont have abs, you dont need abs equipment.

if youre still unsure about it, sell the abs rotors here in the classifieds section, and try to get a set of regular ones. though im still fairly sure theyre the same.



and its spelled BRAKES. break is like. to snap or...shatter. like you break a bone.

abs rotor are a little less then 1/4' in dia to big,it sux! oh i know how to spell it jus figured every1 on here would be smart enough to know what i meant

well i knew what you meant, but if i knew how to spell it, why would you do it wrong on purpose.

just try to sell the rotors you got and pick up the right ones. thats wack that the people wont accept returns though.
