Hello,

I just came back from my 24k km at my dealer and they give me a paper with a note that my break are 6mm front and 5mm rear. How should I interpret that?

Thanks

I'm thinking thats the thickness of your brake pad

Most brake pads start with around 10mm of thickness. They are usually good until around 2mm before they need changing. So you still have plenty of time before they need changing

From the service manual:

Stock brake pad thickness:

Front: 11mm
Rear: 8.5mm

Wear limit:

Front: 2mm
Rear 1.5mm

So basically you have some life left in your brake pads!

Wow, our 2008 Rogue's brakes are still at 6 mm....and that is at 52,000 miles! Our service writer said he would expect 80K miles on the Rogue brakes.
