break pad question

quick question. Recently maybe 3 days ago, when I hit the breaks not too hard, but its not that light, no screetching or anything. I hear alot of squealing noise that really pokes my ear out. I only got 6k on the car so far. So should I change my pads? It still stops good, just really annoying noise.

You glazes em up. Amazing how people go down freeways and have their brake lights come on and off at 55. Glazes em right up. And quick stops will do it lickity split

Instead of changing you BRAKE pads. You might be able to just use some brake cleaner or take some sandpaper to the surface of the pads to remove the glaze.
