i have a problem with my break lights, it just wont turn off.....here is the scenario........i replaced a new battery.....then the break lights stays on regardless i step or didn't step on the break paddle........ currently i plug off the fuse.....so the lights wont drain my battery off...... but i need a better solution then pluging off the fuse :D .........pls help....oh by the way the car is 92 240sx

check and see if the little switch up under the dash behind the brake pedal levar is stuck.

Check the brake pedal to switch (the blue one iirc) location up under the dash. There is a little grommet witch turns to plastic, cracks, and falls out, leaving a nice hole. The momentary brake switch will then not be pressed in as it just sits in the hole.

My girls 92' just had this happen and I stuffed a diferent type of rubber grommet in there that worked. Ill get the proper one from my tech friend one day...
