Break lights dont work

I checked the fuse, checked the wiring, checked the switches on the break pedal. I have no idea what else it could be. I know the bulbs arnt burn out because when I hit my alarm they both light up. But pressing the break wont activate the lights. I'm studying the manual now but if someone can give me a clue, please do!

did you check the clearance on the switch to the brake pedal?
