break light in bck window?

My break light in the back window is dead. Will it pass inspection? Probably a dumb ? I know-thanks

May depend on the state. Here in NC mine wouldn't pass with just one section of the 3rd brake light out.

unless the inspector doesn't care, you won't pass in VA

Inspection? Man, I love it in Colorado.

I am imagining that you all have to pass a DOT inspection? Probably a good idea, but I am glad we don't have it here...I would have to totally alter my motorcycle each year for that. The G is still stock, except for the V-LED turn signals in the rear (which I'm sure they would not like, being the Govt.) An inspection sure would help all the other A-holes on the road around here with their fart cans and 'off-road use only' lights, but I should be exempt...oh wait, I essentially am in CO!

We don't have inspection in Montreal unless the car hasn't been registered for over a year.
