i am wondering how long i should wait until i can push the SR. I installed the engine not long ago. since the engine has been sitting around for a whiel before i installed, i should wait for it to break in again before i push it right? What should the break in period be?

Did you add any new parts to it? If not then there is no need for a break in period, if stuff is going bad, it will do it sooner than later. Though if you’re a cautious person like most of us here, 200-300 is safe. New clutches are about 300, new turbos are about 500-1000. I broke my SR in for about 30 miles :P

None of those have any break in period. Just decide by how the car feels. If its running rough then you probably don't want to get on it before you know whats wrong. If its feeling fine and there is nothing appearantly wrong then you could probably get on it after the juices start flowing through it. As I mentioned before, you probably want to give it a couple hundred miles in the off chance.

Just warm it up good and make sure no leaks are present, run it through the gears once or twice to knock to cobwebs off, and your good to go.

hey 240 do u have the stock smic? i have read in numerous sources that the sm is no longer efficient past 12 psi, and the turbo is at its end at 14 psi. i tried to break mine in, but it go too hard not to boost or race gay elipses. i prolly drove about 100 miles b4 i got on it though
