I just installed a set of Cusco/Project Nissan/Kazama engine mounts, and they are stiffer than I thought.

I LOVE how they feel though. Engine is rock-solid, shifting is 10X better, and there is no engine wind-up and recoil during high RPM shifts, but the vibration is a bit much for my SR20.

Is there any break-in period where they soften up a bit?

NOTE: PLEASE POST IF YOU OR A FRIEND HAS HAD PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, NO HERESAY

Not sure about the Cusco ones but my Nismo ones softened up a bit after a week or two.

I have two buddies that have/had it. Your stuck with the vibrations etc. Now with winter its more apparent.. spring/summer lessen a little but not much. I ran stock mounts polyeurthaned and thats was almost the same effect as solid mounts..ended up buying some nismo mounts.
