Hi

I have read some of the topics posted on Break-in, however I would like to have more information.

1. The manual mentions not to exceed 4000RPM's but the dealer only said to to exceed 100km/h - Is this speed or RPM's depended.

2. I was on a 400km's round trip this past weekend and the car had 110km when I commenced the trip, on my way back I had to drive through some hills, the steepest was about 5km climb. My question : has this affected my engine or transmission in anyway and is there something to worry about?

3. Any further advice would be appreciated in this regard.

Thanks and regards,

Sorry we didn't get back to you sooner. The breakin perior is rpm specific. Keep it below 4k for 2000km.

I doubt you could hurt an Infiniti engine from what you have described. I know many people who run their Infinitis at the track and otherwise abuse them without problems.
