break dust

Hey all this is my first time here because i just got my first Z 06 .far cry from my 06 MX5 . from Zoom to Boom ,ha ha . there is one thing im having trouble with .Brake dust seam to be baked right into the wheels .any way to take that stuff off ,try a few things except ACID .. hope someone has the answer

CongratZ on the new car!

I use Meguiar's Hot Rims wheel cleaner and it does a great job. Spray, let it soak for a 15-30 seconds and rinse off. I use a soft bristled toothbrush for stubborn spots, hard to reach areas and my calipers.

If you'd rather not put so much time into keeping your wheels clean you may want to look into getting some low dust brake pads.

Congratz on the purchase! For your problem...I had the same issue but just with a couple of spots on one of my wheels. Believe it or not I used Zaino Z-PC. Unfortunately you cannot just go to the store and buy it, so you have to order it online. I actually used this all over every inch of my car and was amazed with the results. If your not familiar with the Zaino products, they are the best on the market I get more compliments than I ever have before since I've started using it.
