brands people recommend for mods

These are the brands that I know of (I don't recommend but other people do):Exhaust: GReddyBrakes: BremboSprings/Coils: Eibach, TeinTires: Nitto, Bridgestone, MichelinSeats: Sparco

saave your time, go coilovers...i have teins and i couldnt be more happy, ive owned corbeau racing seats...didnt like them due to they sat me way too high in the car good quality thoug, and for exahust ive had good luck with RS*R, GReddy is also a very repuatble brand...but hell if i were to do it again i would just buy the SSAC exhaust of E-bay for like 200$ shipped...put ur money somewhere else.

I heard megan racing makes pretty nice exhausts, theyre a little more than the ssac

As for coilovers, everybody says KTS, but megans, and ksports aren't bad either considering their price (allthough ksports known to brake)

exhaust: Tanabe, Apexi, 5Ziegen, etc.brakes: Brembo, Project Mu, Endless, etc. springs, coils....as mentioned before save up for coilovers....Stance, Tanabe, Apexi, etc.tires: Federal, Falkin, BFGoodrich, etc.seats: Sparco, Bride, Recaro, etc.

*Side note: there is no ryhme or reason concerning the order in which I typed out the companies. If I miss spelled a company name forgive me*

What are your goals first of all?

there are many makers of each group of parts you're talking about.

exhaust: looking for something that'll hug close to the car? looking for something quiet? looking for something that will produce the most power? what are you looking for?

brakes: what's your budget and what are your braking habits like?

Coilovers may not be for everyone. Budget and goals comes into play for this one. Just a street car, go shock/spring and if you really are going to take it to the track, not like a few people who would just get the coilovers for the sake of "uh, i think i will" but never actually do. At that point it's a waste of money, and I've consistantly seen coilovers blow out sooner than a set of properly setup shock/springs.

Tires: too much info on this. Again track or street? how is your area? I chose a tire that had better wet traction because my car is usually on the street and running something with a huge contact patch when it's wet is just asking for trouble.

Seats: Sit in a few and see what fits you best.
