i should be able to cover the car with that much, average for a car they say is between 100-110 sqft. worse comes to worse ill pick up another few feet of it as i may double up under the carpet to keep the cabin quiet.its an avic d3, ive got lots of goodies already comming though cant wait

Damn Brandon, you arn't wasting any time. Just the other day you didn't think you where getting an A/C and now you have sponsers and doing a complete custom build. Good work and I can't wait to see how this comes together.

Pretty sure Doc and I both used between 160 and 200 square feet on our A/Cs. But, Doc and I tend to go a bit overboard, so this might not be necessary for everyone.

i talked to the doc about it he told me he used about 80 in the back and trunk area so he said i would be fine with 120 sqft. even if i need more its pretty easy to get a hold off

my exhaust gets a little annoying on the hwy and if i take off the cat it will be really annoying on the hwy so i'm thinking about getting some of this sound deadening stuff. i know its mostly for sound systems (which is in the distant future for me) but how does it do with road noise and the noise from exhaust on the hwy?

its great for everything, double it up on the floor and even do a layer on the headliner and it will make a huge diff in noise.

honestly check ebay its alot cheaper and i know alot of people like dynamat but i think its a rip. for the price of there trunk kit i could almost do my whole car with fatmat, its not as thick but is supposedly just as good and i dont want to weigh my car down either

I use to be in the car audio industry, from what i learned... "there is no such thing as too much dynamat" **to a certain extent. But everyone in the shop i worked at had at least two layers all the way around. I used 2 dynamat Xtreme Trunk kits alone in my trunk, used about 3 more kits on the rest of the car. **It did help with my employee discount, got each kit for about 35 bucks, and all the labor myself. Ohhh man did it make a difference, both with my Type R sub, and road noise. I do have to admit one thing, other brands like fat mat or be quite sound damping do work pretty much the same as dynamat. Only small differences in performance, the big thing i rememberd when customers would bring in their own stuff would be the install process. Just cutting it and molding it to the frame, took alittle more effort on the other stuff; but worth the price they saved over the name brand. I noticed from the pics though the classic scoshe amp wiring kit, you might want to consider at least upgrading your RCAs to some higher quality wires, I.E JL, or Rockford and possibly your power and ground wires as well. You will notice a big difference here, trust me from all the of installs ive done. And like any install, its easier to do it right the first time; dont want to have to rip out all the wiring a couple months from now. Just my 2 pesos, but good luck on the install, can't wait to see pics

magnaflow muffler? are you getting one like mine or are you going with two magnaflow mufflers? or maybe a set-up like the artisan exhaust. you gotta post some vids and pics as soon as you get it installed

So onto the other goodies that came in today.50sqft of fat mat came in which should be enough with the other i have here to finish the car off. ended up ordering new RF RCA cables since i couldnt find mine they should be here soon. Also i started on the lights today for the car because some other goodies came and i cant wait to get them in the carCan you say clear lens

That is going to be a fun day. I love putting every part on my car. I only wish I had a garage full of parts to add on. Your car is going to be stock one day, and fully modified the next.
