I use to be in the car audio industry, from what i learned... "there is no such thing as too much dynamat" **to a certain extent. But everyone in the shop i worked at had at least two layers all the way around. I used 2 dynamat Xtreme Trunk kits alone in my trunk, used about 3 more kits on the rest of the car. **It did help with my employee discount, got each kit for about 35 bucks, and all the labor myself. Ohhh man did it make a difference, both with my Type R sub, and road noise. I do have to admit one thing, other brands like fat mat or be quite sound damping do work pretty much the same as dynamat. Only small differences in performance, the big thing i rememberd when customers would bring in their own stuff would be the install process. Just cutting it and molding it to the frame, took alittle more effort on the other stuff; but worth the price they saved over the name brand. I noticed from the pics though the classic scoshe amp wiring kit, you might want to consider at least upgrading your RCAs to some higher quality wires, I.E JL, or Rockford and possibly your power and ground wires as well. You will notice a big difference here, trust me from all the of installs ive done. And like any install, its easier to do it right the first time; dont want to have to rip out all the wiring a couple months from now. Just my 2 pesos, but good luck on the install, can't wait to see pics
