im going to be doing a tune on my sohc and ill be using ngk plugs and wires but dont know which is the best brand to use? cost is not a huge concern. any and all help would be appreciated.

Best brand? I dunno. I used BWD cap and rotor with my NGK plugs and wires, no complaints.
