My first 3 cars were beaters and never had a damn rock chip or scratch.
Now I'm on my 3rd new car and had only bad luck ever since. lol
1. Those people are called Douchebags.(Particularly stupid if they want to race a 122hp V)DrivingHabit wrote:

Can't say that I have noticed that. Why would anyone want to race a Versa? You must be doing something to make them want to race you like glancing at them, racing that 122 hp (124 if you have put on a CAI ) engine, or something. Most people really do not even take notice of the car which is fine with me. As far as riding the bumper, that happens no matter what I am driving.DrivingHabit wrote:Have guys noticed, does it seem like people drive crazier, a little more dangerous each time they see a brand new car on the road??? one thing to note i keep getting people who want to race at stoplights or they ride your bumper when coming to complete stop Modified by DrivingHabit at 10:27 AM 5/5/2009
ya agreed other drivers don't notice my car and i much but pontiacs and saturns do tend to cut me off often......i feel sorry for them.....although i am firm in the belief that chicks look awesome in pontiacs.....what i am really noticing is alot more versas in my area....and alot of us wave to each other so that's nice lol.fjwagner wrote:

Have you checked out http://www.socalversaclub.com, if not do so. There are a number of members there that are looking for new Versa members especially if you're around the area. Definitely give superskunk a shout if you can.eeshazor wrote:LOL. I used to own a '98 civic coupe, I liked it back in the day now I dislike Hondas especially riced out Civics. I'll admit, mine was riced out somewhat, I should of known better at the time.Codelicious wrote:lol
Nothing is better than that Honda Civic pulling up next to you with a Exhaust thats bigger than your head, and than its bumpers are like taped on cause they are breaking. People with these cars are stupid. lol
Someone around me has a garbage green HB Civic and it has these like baby blue wheels. It looks so horrible driving down the road with its huge exhaust.
The only Honda I'd want to buy is the now dead S2000. If you want to get technical, the NSX is another Honda I'd wanna buy.Mile High Versa wrote:I used to own a '98 civic coupe, I liked it back in the day now I dislike Hondas especially riced out Civics. The difference is, you don't see many riced out V's. With the Hondas, they are everywhere that is why I dislike them now. I don't plan to rice out my V at all, just putting tasteful mods on them that are beneficial and not pointless.fjwagner wrote:so, what is the difference between a riced out Honda Civic and a riced out Nissan Versa? Just curious as it seems to be the same thing to me.
Just curious. what is beneficial? I thought most mods were for looks? This is coming from someone that never modded a car in his life and will not plan to unless directly related to handling or performance. Given there are many more Civics out there than Versas, how your ricing different than the Civics I see?Mile High Versa wrote:The difference is, you don't see many riced out V's. I personally think the difference is that all of us Versa and Tiida owners are not being completely ridiculous in our mods. Sure, we will throw on some lowering springs and a CAI. Some of us have an exhaust, some don't. Now.. TYPICALLY (in my area) every Honda Civic HB I see has the biggest exhaust pipe possible and they all look the same (other than the car color).fjwagner wrote:

....i had 6 packages of roofing shingles in the back last week and checked my car out what it would look like if it was lowered. vs look awesome lowered. i am still wondering why nissan dropped the onyx blue color. my car would look nice with some of the rims i have seen on here. i really can't lower my v because of the climate in green bay too much snow.......but someday i will keep an eye out for some 17 inchers and slap those on with cai exhaust should be good. but overall vs aren't ricers.they are european in design so the europeans have the upper hand on v styling,,,,,,,,remember that picture of a superblack tricked out v in germany awhile back, think it had spoke rims and it was completely awesome.fjwagner wrote:

Just like you said most people do what they do to their car for looks. Some people like there car close to the ground with a huge exhaust, I am not one of them. I don't find anything necessary or useful from lowering it and getting an exhaust that makes my Versa sound retarded. I love the way the Versa is so quite compared to my last car. Everyone has different tastes and opinions so what people do to their car is something that is up to them. I do not add things to my V because I think others will like it, I do it because I like it. For example, I do not really find it necessary to buy new headlights. Sure I love the way they look, but why replace something that is working fine in the first place. That is just my opinion. If a light got smashed or broke somehow then I would replace it with something different, depending on the cost though. As long as my Versa runs and is clean inside and out, then I'm happyfjwagner wrote:
