I gotta brand new shell....Which engine? From Where? wanna spend less than 2,500$ on engine

What engine you pick is going to be entirely up to you. Ask me and I'd tell you to get a KA and turbo it now or later down the road. Another may tell you to get an SR. Fortunately I don't think you have to worry about anybody on this forum telling you to drop an H22 in it, but I've seen that happen elsewhere. Browse through the forums. Use the search function. Just read everything you can get your hands on, then make the decision for yourself.
