Thanks! How much and which are best for lowering? I wasn't thinking that first. I was actually thinking a Nismo or Borla Exhaust, any takes?

You have a good amount of spring choices to choose from and they are all good. It will depend on how much your willing to spend and what brand you want.
Springs: Eibach, H&R, or Tein. Price range $200-280. H&R and Tein will be on the higher end of the spectrum.
Coilovers: BC Racing BR or Tein Basic or SS. Price range from $800-1300 new depending which one you get. Tein SS will be the most expensive.

There are some cheaper alternatives for springs and coilovers but I don't recommend them. Hence for not listing them.

Can't go wrong with either Nismo or Borla. One is a cat-back and the other is an axle-back. Difference in gain will be very minimal. It will come down to money, looks, and sound. I actually would love to hear what a Borla would sound like on a 2.5s since I have never seen or heard it.

Welcome fellow silver owner!

Of the exhausts i've heard on the 2.5 the nismo would be my top pic. Some of the exhausts sound a bit ricey, but that's just the nature of the 4 banger. The nismo gives it a nice low tone.

btw what year was your bimmer? I'm really into the late 80s early 90s bmw's.

cool car bro. I wish i has an altima coupe. Nismo exhaust would sound nice and coilovers to drop the car would look nice.

Not to stray away from your thread here, but nice I too just got a Altima Coupe, got it over at Power Nissan of Chandler on Sunday the 27th. Wanted a Metallic Slate color but they couldn't locate one without all the bells and whistles or a manual transmission for that matter. So I ended up getting a nice Red Alert 10' model with the convenience package for a lower price than a bare bone 11'
