Car: 2010 Infiniti M35 Base

Post

Been reading a couple weeks now on the site and finally decided to join up.

My previous car was an 01' BMW 325Ci that I enjoyed, but needed something more. I narrowed my search to the BMW 335/535/550, Hyundai Genesis, Lexus GS and the Infiniti M. After test driving all of the above, the M was the clear winner. It had everything I was looking for. So... I ended up joining the Infiniti/Nissas Nation and bought a 2010 M35 and ever since have been nothing but pleased and satisfied. The M is great and I wish I would have made the jump earlier.

Question: I bought the Base model i.e. no nav, no lane departure system, adaptive cruise, etc... I can bluetooth my iPhone 3GS for calls but not for my music. There is an AUX button, but I don't have a clue as to how to hook it up to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, up for any suggestions as to what to tinker with first. Getting tinting done this weekend. What should be next?

Congrats on your purchase!! A base model is not the most ideal for the M as the technology Infiniti offers is missed but you've got a GREAT car none the less.... The aux will be outside the center console visible to the rear passengers..(under the a/c vents), push the small rectangular button and the compartment below it will open revealing the red, yellow and white aux connectors and a cigarette lighter outlet. This is where you can connect your phone or other acc via an aux connector going to your headphone jack of your device. Try out if it doesn't work let us know!! Good luck!

I use this connection for streaming Pandora via my galaxy s2 phone but unlimited data recommended... :dblthumb:

I'm not familiar with the 2010 model, so I'm not of much help technically.

Can you not press source a few times to access the AUX?

Sorry i had to glance at my car real quick, if you press the Disc-Aux button (next to the settings button in black) a few times you can change the source to whichever you desire
