I dunno. some of the body pics look like updated styling and the interior is also updated. I also don't believe they ever originally produced a 4 door hardbody, although I could be wrong there.PhillyHardbody wrote:I believe the reason there is no pricing, is because they don't actually sell them, that looks as if that website is trying to sell used ones or something along those lines, because they also have an older style Sentra that I know 100% isn't produced anymore, and they have the Patrol which also I'm 100% sure they don't produce anymore either.
Novajoe wrote:eh, with the kind of money involved in importing a car, you could easily completely rebuild your current truck with new... everything. Looked into importing a skyline awhile back and it's not cheap.
if you did import one though, you could get the 4cyl diesel option. That seems pretty cool

yea diesel fuel is a bit more expensive than regular gas, but they generally get better fuel economy and have more tq than gasoline motors. Not to mention the tax breaks you get from having an alternative fuel vehicle.MilkMan wrote:+1 on the smoker... I haul milk for a living and stop at 8-15 dairies a day. Lotta smaller 25-100hp old diesel tractors just waiting to be transplanted into a mini truck, but these Dairymen just let them rust out in the pastures.![]()
Here is the link I got that info from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Hardbody_Truck
Scroll to the bottom of the page where is says "End of Production"
What I can barely understand by the web site assumed purpose, is that they are not selling vehicles only but also telling the history of Nissan. I guess for that reason some old models are included between the newest ones.MilkMan wrote:Im trying to find a friend to translate that page, but from what I understand they do still have the tooling to make those models and have updated the interiors on the HB, Patrol, and Sentra Classic. My source for that link above was from HardBody Wiki which can be edited by anyone, so If I'm wrong someone chime in. Its still nice to dream though ain't it??
Imagine importing a New HB for your dd and using the patrol as a weekend beater!!
