I just installed a stage 2 XTD (dont hate) clutch disc, flywheel, pressure plate, throwout bearing but used an OEM pilot.
Ive had good experience with XTD in my 300zx. Pedals nice and firm! Ive been driving it pretty easy so far (300km) recently my clutch has picked up a shudder when i engage the clutch at low rpms (below 3000) while its cold. its dissappears when the clutch is warmed up. After a long drive my clutch loves to slip, it will get worse and worse the more i drive until i let the car cool down.
i understand an oil leak may be the cause of both, but why would it shudder while its cold with brand new parts?

i have adjusted the clutch pedal.
i am still using super thin break-in oil on my new engine.
brand new transmission seals, new rear main and new oil pan gasket.
any ideas?

brand new flywheel, or resurfaced? Good slave and master? Sounds like clutch chatter could just be a bad disk or the engagement is off due to something else.

its a brand new flywheel. brand new slave cylinder aswell.
the disc shouldnt be bad, its brand new. How could the engangment of the clutch be off?

is it possible when the clutch fluid gets hot the master saggs forcing the clutch to slip?

Never heard of that. That happened to a buddy of mine, and it did turn out to be his clutch disc (His was brand new as well) sometimes new ones are defective and don't work worth a damn.
