Okay so I don't own an Altima Coupe myself however my buddy just bought a new Altima Coupe 2.5 without the Premium package and he asked me to ask a forum a few questions since he's not very internet savvy. Any help is much appreaciated thanks guys.

1. If he wanted to go H.I.D can he just purchase H.I.D bulbs or does he have to do some sort of conversion?

2. Are there any double-din deck kits available for this vehicle yet? Sort of like the ones that are available for the G35 Coupe.

3. What offset, wheel width, and tire sizes do you guys recommend if he wanted to buy 20" wheels.

4. Bolt pattern is 114.3 correct?

Thanks for the fast replies. Would I just purchase the balast from the dealer? If Nissan is anything like Infiniti they are probably going to ridiculously overprice the HID Balast. Are there any places to purchase them online? Thanks.

For an HID kit on a non premium packaged coupe you'll need an aftermarket HID conversion kit which is a direct plug and play with you existing wiring. Take a look at some of the how-to information in the Table of Contents thread. Also do a couple quick searches and you'll come up with some brands people are running.

Check the Table of Contents thread on the double din install as well. Several people here are using a Metra kit to install the Pioneer Avic D3 and Z2.

Would this kit with the single HID beam and D2R work?

You need an H11 kit not a D2R. D2R bulbs are used on the factory ballasts.

That kit would work just fine. Just get the right bulb size. I run a McCulloch kit in my fogs. I've used the same kit on two cars over the course of nearly 2 years.

I ordered a McCulloch 6000k HID conversion kit on Saturday. I should get it Wednesday. If the weather holds, I'll have em in by the weekend. I'll let you know how they are!!

Yes There are some pictures in one of these threads somewhere. I'll post them again, I just have to find them. I have a McCulloch kit in the fogs using 4300k bulbs. They match fairly well and they provide much better light on the road.

I found the threadhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=286246Did you buy it from any place in particular? I was searching ebay and found a bunch of Xenon 4300 bulbs but not sure i'd want those. 4200K and 4300K should match pretty close right?
