I'll post up pics. It's just going to be myself and one other member, APLPIX.
Sadly no one else can attend ... again :(

Our first meet had four Versa members. We met in Toronto. Here's a few pics (I don't know if you have ever seen these):

I've made it a priority to scour the van before we drive to PEI.
...just a couple feet of crud inside,
nothin a flame-thrower couldn't cure!
We talked about taking V east [2 adults, 2 kids],
but for travelling space, there's no replacement for displacement [pardon another pun].
...so minivan it is! Gonna remove one middle seat for space, and everybody happy
Total trip will be abt 3700km, at abt $.11 per km for fuel, less discount for US gas.
Versa currently abt $.0673 per km, sooo......
perhaps $158 extra to drive van,
..that's a bargain IMO
:yesnod
...since everybody in Brampton asked

Ya we took my Versa to Myrtle Beach when she was 3 months old :D It was such a nice smooth comfy ride. Just myself and my parents. Not much room to put stuff in the trunk. We stuffed the car to the top coming home (my mom and I like to shop) :D

Normally we resort to taking Chuckie (my parent's possessed 97 Venture). We are just waiting for him to hit the grave, and he never seems to quit ... ugh :S

ya we gonna shop too.
My wife calls the Venture/Montana as the "Maintainer"
Give it time, it'll shank another intake gasket before long...or a transmission,
...or die of blandness.
At least it's red

Lol ... ya that could be it's only good quality (the fact that it's red).

My parents have owned it since it was brand new ... Never had any real issues with it. My brother mucked up the front end when he was in high school; since then Chuckie has paid us back big time. He lets things work on his own time. I drove it to Buffalo last summer for my last week of school. I was driving a few other classmates, and didn't want to take my Versa. So we took Chuckie. Well he kept locking his locks for the entire ride. All you heard was 'click', 'click', 'click' ... for the entire drive down. And to try and open the door in between was a nightmare. We were practically locked inside of him. We then drove Chuckie to Myrtle Beach as soon as I got back from school; and he did that for most of the ride. We couldn't disconnect the locks since we had valuables in side of him ... He's a funny guy ...

Before I went to Cali, he decided to stop any A/C from blowing cold. He doesn't even have that many kms on him considering his age. I know he has less than 200 for sure ... I haven't gone inside of that van for a long time. He mostly sits outside; abandoned, lol ...

Aha! Now I see the Chuckie/shifty personality connection!
lol
Glad it hasn't been a maaaaajor pita.
Love the Versa being the mini-minivan/sportcute.
I have family member with navy Nissan Quest, 2005 or 6, about 100000miles.
Very happy with reliability, power, fuel economy, and interior space for 2 adults, 2 kids and stuff.
Have another friend with a white Quest, same year.
I would not hesitate to recommend one :yesnod
but it would have to be red eh? :lolling:

My dad and I were driven home in the Quest Shuttle from Plaza. We both disliked it's awkward interior (the exterior is kind of weird looking too). So my dad is not interested in the Quest at all. Plus, it does not come in the same bright red that my brother and I were able to get in our Nissan's.

Chuckie is okay. He just has a weird personality. When he feels like working; he's a good van. It has a lot of power and gives a pretty good ride. Road noise is awful inside of him. I guess that's what you can expect for something that old.

After my dad fixed up his exterior last summer he looked half decent, and I repainted his hubcaps this summer. But it will be nice for him to buy something new. Roadtrips in Chuckie are not very much fun. His bucket seats are not comfortable for a long trip. It makes you feel as though you are sitting on bricks... :S
