Im thinking my calipers are going bad because when I brake it causes my steering wheel to turn right slightly. My brakes also feel a little "loose" like its not a lot of pressure and takes me to push down a little harder to fully brake. Theres also a sliding noise like one or both of the pads are dragging instead of actually gripping. I think I can still see some pad left, so I dont think its the pads.

I can buy a caliper rebuild kit at any auto parts store right? Its the front brakes btw.

Yep,Sounds like a stuck caliper on the driver's side. Don't drive the car until you get that fixed!

yeah sounds like your caliper is stuck, you will be able to feel the heat coming off of the wheel. it will warp your rotor quickly

I'll get it fixed tomorrow with a rebuild kit. But I went to the auto store and they said I needed a bore size in order to get the rebuild kit. Im not quite sure of the bore because I got these calipers and rotors off a 180sx clip from japan. All I know is I had to cut the heat shield and I had to get ABS brake pads (I dont have abs) for them to fit.

I tried looking up some warped rotor pics, but I couldnt find any. I only found that I would have vibration or jerky-ness, but I dont. When I look at the rotors, all I see are circular grooves (going around the shape of the rotors). If I move my fingernail inwards and outwards (from the center-outwards) I can feel them. Thats not warped is it? I thought that might be somewhat normal.

That lugnut in picture 6 of your sig scares me. If that's a stock nut, you seriously need to get some longer studs. The stud is supposed to be at least flush with the top of the nut if not 2-3mm above it.

Well, the pic was taken when I had 2 17" rims on the car. They arent stock lug nuts...at least I dont think so. I bought them from NTB (National Tire and Battery). But even now I think its about the same length inside the nut. Everyone with SE alloys has their studs come close to the rim of the nuts???? If thats the case, then I'll be **** out of luck...at least for the time being.

Ok, got it fixed by my mechanic. He said the caliper was stuck and that rubber piece around the caliper had turned purple from leaking brake fluid.

Bad news: Apparently my steering rack is bad/going bad. He said when you push the brake, the steering rack moves.

I assume he means you need new steering rack bushings. If so thats an easy fix.

I hope so, although I wish that was the most of my worries right now.

Friday, I was about to drive my car after installing my intake, when I saw antifreeze running out of my oil pan seal.
