91 240sx non abs
1st I broke a rear brake line, not a big deal i replaced it and bled both the rears but the brakes were still squishy so after talking to some people they said i should bleed the fronts too. i jacked the car up, had a helper pump the pedal, cracked the drivers side front bleeder and now the pedal wont get any pressure. we bled that caliper for alt least 20 min and it got no better. i have never had this problem before with brakes. Any ideas??

If the master completely ran out, there is probably air in the master. Gravity bleeding is the best way when you have air.....then go back to bleeding by pumping, holding, bleeding.

Or a one person bleeder, either manually pumping, pressurizing a remote res, or air bleeding.

it didnt i kept it above half full the whole time. another thing thats weird is when the brakes are pumped the fluid in the reservoir bubbles.

Then that means you have air still in the master. It must have happened when you fixed the brake line.

when you bleed brakes you always start with the wheel farthest away from the master cylinder so you would go rr,lr,rf,lf, if you replaced a line more than likely a good bit of your fluid leaked out so its gonna be a b**** to do... i would suggest a solo act at it not sayin it cant be accomplished but two people makes the process way easier .... and compactfean i agree gravity bleeding is my fav but the process is way longer
