I've searched on this and havent been able to find much. I need to change my brake pads and rotors on the front of my 240 (90). I just want to know how much torque do i use when im putting the caliper back on. that and to get the rotor off the front do i just unbolt the caliper and pull the rotor off?

the hub and rotors are separate on the 240, i.e. the rotor just slides over the lug bolts, so once you remove the caliper retaining bracket, you should be able to remove the rotor no problem.

hit the middle of the rotor with a BFH and it will pop right off

use search button on the upper right of this browser. its very helpful

as for how much torque? just make sure its tight enough with a foot long wrench, thats all, dont force it too much, just tighten it with your single hand as tight as your can push. well if youre too strong , dont force it.

you can find a service manual for download here too. just use search..
