i was driving the car kinda hard the other night, i didnt think it was anything too hard, nothing more then ive driven my past vehicles, and when i pulled in my driveway both front wheel brakes were smoking. they were smoking bad enough where it was a constant stream of smoke for about a minute, no glowing on the rotors. the car does only have about 250 miles on it but i didnt really think i was beating on it that bad where it was result in smoking brakes. you guys think anything is seriously damaged. the brakes really dont feel that bad now. thanks

i wouldnt worry about it... as long as the brakes dont feel real mushy, it was probably just burning some of the crap away.

Well, they were probably not broken in all the way. Be interesting to know when the braking shimmy starts.

I would definitely check the fluid as heat transfer to the fluid via heat soaking is greatest when the car is stopped.

It sounds as though you've ruined the whole car. Terribly sorry to be the one to have to tell you. Your best course of action would probably be to just turn it over to me. I can stop by and haul it away for you.

Way to scare the new guy!!

The brakes on your car are new, this is a normal process. Have fun with your new car.
