Ok, so I clearly have to redo the brakes on my S13. The rotors are warped as hell. I can't touch the brake without feeling a whole lot of fade and the wheels shaking like it's 1969.Anyways, I'd like to not spend too much money but I do want a better brake feel than stock. I'm thinking SS brake lines, Axis pads and Brembo rotors.About the rotors: do the slotted provide that much of an advantage over OEM style rotors? I really dont want to spend too much cash right now. I've ruled out the Z32 upgrade because I'm not too crazy about the idea of not being able to use my stock wheels anymore, and my current 17' (sitting in the garage) will not clear the caliper.Right now most of my finances are being pored in the shop so I'd really like to keep the cost down. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a good plan.

The solid rotors should serve you well in the back. In the front I prefer vented rotors. Not neccasarily cross drilled or slotted but with vents to let air into the middle of the rotor. I'm not sure if these can be had without crossdrilling but they will cool well.

Upgrading to dot 4 or 5 brake fluid wouldn't be a bad idea either.

If you do not AutoX or Drift alot cross drilled or the slotted rotors will not serve you any benefit. They will just eat away at your pads. Get Brembo blanks.

BTW, stock rotors are vented in the front.

The biggest difference you will see is with performance pads on all four corners with good rotors. SS lines on all four corners will help as well. Get some GOOD brake fluid and flush out the old one in your car. This should provide you with good enough performace for spirited driving.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah, I know the rotors are already vented in the front. I just didn't want to spend unnecessary money. I'm also contemplating wheater to keep modifying my hatch or wait until I get a good 180SX. The one I got in the shop has just been sold so I don't want to go all out yet.

Wow... it's been so long since I've looked at any that I had forgotten that. I guess mine were too but I could have sworn they weren't. Go figure.
