i have no idea, unless they mean ACTIVE because technically active cars have a different part number for the brake pads, even though i doubt theres any mentionable difference....

Because you are looking at 3rd party non-OEM sources.

o.k. brian, i can buy in to that. here is the impetus that prompted the question in the first place. i ordered the 3 drive belts from joe only to find that the pwr. st. belt was not correct. length was same but width was not. 96qt show #11950-60us5-vw while the #60us4 is the correct ap. my orig. build sheet shows the q pkg., all the t goodies are there but the vin# shows non a, non t. the pwr. st. pulley on my t is appx. 50% narrower than the belt i recieved. so that started me wondering what else might i experience along those lines.

All of these problems can be avoided along with paying too much by ordering from Joe with your VIN nearby.

The thing is Joe thought you had a 90-94 Q45t with HICAS. As we all know, 95+ Q45t's did NOT come with HICAS.

Basically theres no difference on the 95-96 Q45t's except for the spoiler and the RSB.

In the beginning there were many different front pads [ ultra high performance, normal, and woman real estate agent version based on wear rates and dust], various compounds for various drivers desires. Today just one for cars with sensor and one without.

Well, not quite true in regards to brakes as some early 1995 G50 had the sensors.
