Ok, so I've got a 4 wheel 300zx brake upgrade w/mastercylnder. Here is my problem. My drivers front brake locks up before my passenger front does. I know they are bled correctly as I've done it countless times. Anybody else have this problem? My thinking is that since the mastercylnder was orignally designed w/1 line for the front, splitting it may have messed up the balance. Also, the Z32 had (what I call anyway) an equalizer line between the front brakes, assuring that they had equal pressure. To fix this I've thought of either getting a brand new MC and then modding it to get it to work again, or to build and equalizer system into the front brakes. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

It's possible the traction at both front tires may not be the same. If your right front tires carries less load under braking, it will lock up first.

Do you have the same tires on both sides?

why did you have to split a line?spliting brake lines is a bad...bad idea. it can mess up the proportioning from side to side very easily.-chet

the Z MC's were designed for ABS, so they normally have one line for fronts and rears. But they also have a plugged valve for the second front line. You did pop that out and put the front line in it, right?

C-Kwik - I suppose it's possible, but if anything the other wheel would lock up because I'm sitting right behind the wheel that is locking up.

Mayhem - Same wheels and tires all the way around

Dori Dori - I have a title to maintain, "The longest texted based sig on NICO". People like me are the reason that your sigs only show up once now! I'm so glad I have an influence on NICO. Hehehe

Exar Kun - I had to pull the plug out of the Z32 MC. Originally there was one line for the front and one for the back and then a plugged up hole. I unplugged the hole and used that for my other side.

tenkawa_akito - Yes, I did use that line. I'm wondering if that is where my problem is at?
