There should be plasic fittings that look like bleeder valves you see on . Screw the plastic fittings into the holes for the brake lines, and put the clear hose on them.

Disconnecting the hoses shouldn't bring air into the BMC because gravity will draw fluid out constantly. You may have some air in the brake lines on the car but once the BMC is bench bled it should be good forever unless you run out of brake fluid in the reservoir.

Yes which is what I did and i dont think anyone got the air out from the top of the lines yet. One shop didn't even know where my ABS was...
question... If the lines go from the BMC to the ABS then the calipers, why do we bleed the ABS last. Shouldn't we clear the lines from beginning to the end?

No, the common practice is to go from furthest bleed point to the closest. Use the stated method/order in the 300zx service manual and make sure you bleed the abs pump!

I didn't read another one of your posts right, my bad. So you did bench bleed the MC...sorry - I thought you didn't. I really think you should just get a friend and bleed your brakes until your legs fall off from pumping lol.

When I first got my 300, it had "spongy" brakes. I too tried a lot of things that people reccommended to me, but to no avail. I must have put about 2 gallons of DOT4 through the brake system!

One of my friends said that I might have air trapped in my ABS block. He reccommended that I find myself an old gravel road and get up to 80Km/hr ( 45mph) and stomp on and hold the brakes until almost stopped a few times on the dirt road. Well, I did it about 10 times and the ABS was going nuts. Afterwards, I looked at the brake reservoir and found a few small bubbles in it.

When I got the Zx back on the blacktop the brakes were working beautifully. It seems I had some trapped air in the ABS actuators. The brakes have been working fine for me ever since doing that.

Interesting. I will try that in the rain at like 3 am one day. I dont want to risk hitting someone if my ABS doesn't even come on.
