I have had my car for almost a month and realizing that the brakes are excessively loud, especially as I near a complete stop at about 5mph or under. I know lots of other conditions play into it but car has ~22k miles on it. I was playing on here last night and found an article, by AZhitman I do believe, that was saying something about Infiniti recognizing less than stellar brakes and maybe being able to have an Infiniti dealer replace under warranty. Did I read this correctly?

Would I be better off just having a place around me re-do them andf if so, anybody from CO that has a good recommendation for Westminster/Arvada/Thornton area?

Thanks!

Sorry, I must have missed this post....First, what year G35 do you have? They dumped the brembro's in the 05 model year, but made the OEM one's much larger than "normal" 03-04 years.

If your vehicle is under warranty, you should definitely have your brakes inspected by the dealer. Brakes may not be a covered item, however I would be hesitant in allowing some shmuck at an independent shop to work on my car using possibly cheap inferior parts. Just my opinion.

Second the suggestion to have your brakes checked ASAP. Even if it isn't covered by warranty, I'd have them checked as soon as possible.
