hello,i am about to replace rotors and pads, i let it go far too long.so my question is,is it normal to have pad dragging on the rotors during driving?i understand when you apply them you will hear grinding sound, but when you off of them, they should be silent.so if pads wouldn't touch the rotors we would have less drag on wheels, the faster the car would go.can you tell me why pads have to drag on the rotors? Thanks,Caug

If you let it go too long before replacing the pads, they will drag and make noise that tells you to replace them. This is a designed feature for people who let them go too long before replacing them.

Replace with better than OEM.
