brakes dont work

I have ABS and when I start my car and pump the brakes i get no feed back it just depresses as if there is nothing there at all let me know:help

by the way i just did an engine swap if that makes a difference

Engine swap wouldn't make a difference with brakes... maybe you scratched a line when you switched engines or something. Check for leaks along the lines, and if there is none, try bleeding them.

what is the best way to bleed brakes?

2 people . one guy pushing down on the pedal while you open the bleeder screw. once he has the pedal down you close the valve and he pumps it up then you crack it again. do this 3 or 4 times per wheel. start with right rear then left rear then right front then left front. keep an eye on the master cyl fluid level as you do this. do not let it run out of fluid or you'll be starting over. the idea is to bleed each wheel till the fluid flows out in a smooth stream instead of spitting bursts of air out.

Off... I think it would be interesting to see someone bleed brakes with the vacuum assist!
