is there supposed to some sort of spacer between the wheel and the brake rotor? reason I ask is mine was flopping around after I put the caliper back on until I bled the lines and the pads are holding it still. I have not seen brakes act like that before and was a little worried.

Is your rotor moving around after the wheel is installed? If so, then that is not normal. But, the rotor can move around with the wheel off or loose.

well I put the wheel back on before bleeding the brake line, so yeah it was moving around after the wheel was mounted. It stopped once pressure was applied to the rotor from the calipers.

Are you using wheel spacers? If so, are they hubcentric?

Also, did you have the lug nuts tightened all the way down? The wheel is supposed to "sandwich" the hat of the rotor between it and the wheel hub.

factory rims, rotor on the hub then wheel on the rotor. I put the lug nuts on and tightened them. Whatever was going on is not happening anymore so either it fixed itself or I was over blowing the situation.
I will check it again this afternoon once I get the car back from Z1 Motorsports. BTW they fixed my skip, apparently I had an injector not ohm'ing out and had it replaced so now all I have left is an alignment and tires as the ones on it are in a sorry state.

If you had compressed the pistons on the calipers or let air get in the lines and hadn't bled the air out then yes the rotor can move a little until the brakes are bled.
