No rust issues with mine. They are zinc plated. I'm located in TX also so mostly just dry heat here.

beginning to see just a little bit on the outer rim of the rotor and a little more at the hub, but waaaaay less than OEM.
Plus, I've got at least 30k miles (> 2 years) on mine.

lots of rust on mine, surface is excellent, and the wear has been excellent. This is year two and they look fine, all I need to do is re and re the front and rear pads. I live in ontario canada harsh winter so my assessment is based on a harsher climate. They are the best deal and you get great service from the brakes and the supplier.

Really ? Mine are as though I just put them on (looks wise). I only started to ask because the OEM pads are $100+. I wound up buying some from infinitipartsonline.com for $88.

I called an spoke to someone at BrakeMotive and they told me that the rust would be determined by the weather. She said she lives in AZ where the temp is warm with a dry heat. Being that I live in NYC, the terrible winter and humid summers don't bode well for these rotors. I will see though once the pads I ordered run out

If the Brakemotive rotors rust on you then just about any rotor will rust for you.

I live in NY and they rust, but not as fast as most others.

It's the downfall of living in this crappy state.

This is true. I would imagine that upstate would be even worse.

In live Florida and my rotors rust. Every now and then I clean them with naval jelly. It removes the rust. All and all I would rather have a little rust than warped rotors over and over. Those OEM ones suck sincerely.
