Got the brakemotive pads and rotors installed at a local shop. Is it possible to make an install mistake with this, with front installed on back and rears to front? Visually seems to have bigger set on rear.

Side note, as reported here, beefy set. Bites well, not immediate, consistent and instills confidence in stopping the car.

Yep. They usually come labeled though. I know not all can or have the tools, but this is why I do my own car work.

I've installed them twice on my car. The front and the rear can't be mistakenly switched, due to the parking brake shoes on the rear. While they looks similar in size the front ones have a larger circumference and the rear ones are deeper to accommodate the parking brake shoes. They do come labeled and you could switch left and right accidently and they would still fit. I'm not quite sure how to say it, but the slots in the rotors should slant towards the rear of the car.

Have you followed the "bedding" procedure? It is critical for best braking performance.

I had an independent shop install so I really don't have hands on experience on this one. I just noticed that it seemed backwards. Ilya, when I inspected it before I dropped it off, I saw that they were labeled.

kmiles, when you said that they can't be mistakenly switched, can you clarify if they can actually BE installed backwards, front to back? I also bedded it, after I got it.
