Well if anyone is up for reading this then please let me know what you think...

Update: My new brake package that I got (brembo replacements, PBR MM pads, SS lines) is now less noisy. The pedal is still a little cushiony but i will bleed them later today.

My questions are about the feel/look. THe rotors are not their original cadmium plated color anymore (or w/e it is they coat them with). THe friction surface of the rotor is now a darker smoke looking color. Though it is not uniform-- i have not been braking hard or driven much at all on them yet)-- it is definetly from the pads. There is no mroe clunking really or chunking off from the pads, but the brakes definelty seem like mroe effort is needed to stop. I know this could very well be that the pads heat range needs to be in effect before they can be taken advantage of... but do you think that these PBR metal masters replacements (surely NOT a racing pad) really need to be heated up that much? Does anyone else have these pads and notice this? Is it normal for the rotors to be discolored during break in/early on in teh pad/rotor life? Will it work itself out and will teh rotors and pads eventually have a decent mating surface? Will the coloration of the rotor go away since it may just be the coating of the new pad wearing off on the rotor (since I have not driven to much, maybe the real material will clean it up after some driving time)?

THanks for any input anyone... I am not sure at this point if I should put on some used factory replacement pads, or if I shoudl be keeping these PBR ones and hope that its just a break in thing. Thanks,

Austin
