My rotors have warped on me without any warning twice now. I've only had the car for 5k miles. I know this is a common problem with G's.

I don't want to sacrifice performance. My 36k warranty is up soon so I don't want to spend 2k/year on brakes either.

Any recommendations for aftermarket pads?

Warped rotors are usually not caused by pads...All of the wheel lugnuts need to be torqued the same.

At any rate, take it to a dealer to have the braking system checked out. I don't think its a common problem with the G35...

Unfortunately, no longer a Nissan or Infiniti, but continuing here at NICO!

Surprising as it may seem, most of the Infiniti owners here at NICO tend to be more satisfied with the Nissan/Infiniti OEM pads than not.

Our resident engineering expert, Q45tech, has looked at many and he tends to recommend getting the heaviest rotor you can find and then use OEM pads!

Remember to break the pads in properly!
