i am trying to get my suspension/ wheels/ and brakes taken care of here while i still have 3 feet of snow outside and can't drive my car anyways. right now i am working on the brakes and am hoping someone else here has already done this and has a few pictures of it. i am trying to do something like this,

i am using a 91-94 bumper i just got and will modify these 92-95 civic air intake ducts to fit in there,

going to put them in the spots right below the turn signal lights. anyone ever done this before and maybe have a few pictures of their set up?

i remember seeing a pic a while back where someone ran some custom (obviously) ducts from the vents to the brakes. unfortunately it was way too long ago for me to even remember what the topic of the thread was, so searching won't get me too far. but if you can modify those bad boys enough for a clean install +100 style points for you. on a second note, i don't intend on getting anything accomplished here at work, aside from picking up my brakes from the powder coater , so i will try and poke around for a bit to find that pic.

Useless on a street car. You want your brakes to be cool , but then good brakes wont work unless they are up to temperature ...hmmmm

yea but i am hoping at the track events i go to, this will come in handy seeing how i am expecting my brakes to get fairly warm here in the 100 degree + nevada heat along with some of the corners on our local course i will be coming in at high speeds. if it ends up being a waste then ahh well whatevers, and thanks numbnuts for trying to find those pictures.

Before doing any ductwork, first order of business is a full Z brake setup, MC, and good pads and rotors. If you are still having heating issues then maybe look into ducts.

They aren't as easy to set up as they look. You have to have a metal ring at the brake rotor side, and mount it very close to the rotor, yet prevent it from touching. Usually the tubing will bind up at full lock, so don't expect to drive around on the street with it.
