i know this was discussed before but i was only able to find partial threads on the subject.

my notes tell me that z32 brakes and rotors are direct bolt on with front rotors at 280mm x 30mm.

i wanted to know if the following skyline brakes fit:

r33 gts-t at 296mm x 32mmr32 gt-r at 296mm x 32mmr32 gts-t at 280mm x 30mm

I am sure they will, but for how much trouble?

I would pass on the 30mm ones.

the 280x30s are the same as Z32, so dont overpay because they are "skyline brakes".

Personally, I would get the 30mm ones because parts are easier to find (like, super easy and cheap vs exactly the opposite) and its overall less hassle for not really much difference. Im not sure the extra rotating weight is worth whatever else you get over the Z brakes. They use the same pads, so the pad swept area cant be significantly different..

the reason that i'm asking is because i have an opportunity to buy R33 GTS-T calipers and rotors for $200 (front and rear). that's cheaper than i've found for the z32 brakes.

so the 296mm x 32mm calipers and rotors will fit?

The 280x28s will clear the 15s with only a 10mm spacer. you have to have 16s I believe to clear the 296s, maybe 17s.... i dont recall, i know its TIGHT with the 15s and the 280s.

thats a pretty good buy for calipers and rotors... Id do it. I would DEFINTIELY buy them even if you just resell it.
