The information I found was from the late great http://www.saltgod.org site. I managed to track down an archived version of the site and snatched up as much information and pictures as I could, but it seems to have some holes.
I was wondering if anyone here has tried this setup, and if the information contained only pertains to the rear brakes, and the front upgrades are the normal ones you see all over NICO.
Here's the information I could find:
www.saltgod.org wrote:Terry's front brakes defy convention in the S13 / S14 community. This is the only occurence of this brake setup that I know of - despite Terry sharing the details years ago. This setup consists of rotors from a 1987 Maxima and Calipers e from a 1985 300ZX. This setup helps braking considerably on the 240, and the larger rotors look really nice through open rims. The upgrade can be bolted on and will give you more rotor and more brake pad.
The new master cylinder from a 1985 300ZX had a 15/16 diameter and maintains proper flow of fluid to the new brake setup, to ensure that clamping force is increased with the swept area.
This is what truly sets Terry's brake conversion apart. Not only did he convert the fron brakes, but also the rears. The parts required for the conversion are listed in the first photo. The spacers were made at a local machine shop for $25 (for all 8). You'll also need 4 50mmx10mm bolts, 4 35mm x 8mm bolts, 2 rotors from a 300zx (these are from a 1985) and a pad frame from a 1987 Maxima. Stock calipers are re-used. When shopping for rotors, it's a good idea to buy them from a n/a car, as the turbos used a 5 bolt pattern that must be redrilled.
The larger diameter of the new rotor is obvious in the second photo, which shows the two stacked on top of each other. The third photo shows all the pieces assembled, with the machined spacers highlighted in red. The final shot shows another glimpse of the custom rear anti-roll bar.
