My 04 altima 2.5S has a weired thump under the drivers side floorboard when I apply the brakes. Not every time but most of the time, if I brake hard or not its still there!! Any ideas?? Its at the shop today but I am sure they will say..."We could'nt dupilcate it."

I had the same problem. Feels like it is right under your heels doesn't it? Well it is. It is the plastic air vent for your passengers feet that has come loose and moves forwards and backwards when you break and accelerate. The solution is to move the drivers seat all the way forward and open the passenger door and look on the floor under the seat. You should see the end of a plastic tube, push it forward until it snaps back into place.
