hey guys not sure if anyone has already done this swap or not but just wanted to share it with you guys. I wanted to do a brake swap and wanted to go larger than the stock q45 setup or 300zx. i got spoiled having 13" brakes on my last car, a mustang cobra and didn't want to give that up. i found a set of adapters/brackets on ebay that allow you to use q45 or 300zx calipers and run the 12.75" 350z brembo rotors. which are way beefier than oem. total spent on the projects was around $300, thats new rotors, calipers, pads, and adapters. here are a few pics of the work. and a comparison of the stock rotor vs the 350z. after driving the difference is amazing!

-here is the link to the brackets, to find them i just searched 240sx big brake upgrade that should pull them up
http://www.ebay.com/itm/240sx-12-75-big ... 2a116c344c

-here is a link for the rotors as well, I searched nissan 350z brembo track rotors
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nissan-350Z-Bre ... 3a67ca5b4e

as far as the calipers, rockauto.com is a great place to pick them up, I went with the q45 setup because i was not sure on the wheel clearance but the 300zx 30mm calipers would work great as well. The brackets that i bought did not come with instructions and there are several ways to install them one of which is the correct way so i will take a picture tomorrow and post it showing the way i mounted mine so if someone does decide to do this they dont have to guess on the mounting. also if i had more money to spend i would have probably picked up a nice 2 piece rotor or some dba's.
