Hey all, I have a decision to make regarding the brake setup for my 240. My mostly stock '93 coupe has the original brakes, which I am finally getting around to upgrading. I plan on replacing the MC with a 1 inch Z32 version most likely, since the OEM one is getting tired. I recently purchased a set of Q45 calipers, as that was my plan before I decided to go 5 lug. Shortly after said purchase, I picked up a set of STi front Brembos with pads, rotors and lines (no rears, but only 5 bills . I need to decide if I should use these (I have the measurements for a bracket to fit them from another forum) or simply save them for my other S13 project and get a set of Z32 fronts.
I am worried they might be a bit big for the front and might throw off the balance f and r. Especially for a car that at most will pump out 170whp from the DE. This car will be more of a DD/spirited car than a hardcore track slut, where as the other S13 might need these Brembos (LS6/T56 ). But I do already have them, and then I wouldn't have to buy more brake parts.
I also have to decide how to do the rear brakes, but I'll get to that later.
Let me know. Thanks
