I'll tried to change the supsension the brakes to z32 alum, the bolts that connect the front spindles to the lower shock tower will not come off. If someone can tell me any suggestion of what worked for them. Also the bolts that connect the (s13) caliper to the spindles will not work for the Z32. Am I suppose to be using a Z32 bolt there?

Thread moved from 240sx convertible to Brakes and Suspension.

The gurus in the Brake/Suspension forum will have the answers you are looking for!

PS... Tig has a 93 240sx 'vert. Should be all the same parts as a 93 hatch or coupe.

SOAK it in Wd-40, then you need to find a strong wrench, ratchet, or whatever tool you're using to take it off..then you need to find a pole, at least about two feet long, but up to five feet if a shorter one is not available. (like a fence post), and use it as a big breaker bar, you and a friend shouldnt have too much trouble with this method.

Mine was very tight too.

I used tried PB? from Walmart, something to help remove old bolts, and a impact wrench at 120psi...nothing. The driver side bolts are different then the passenger side. is this normal?

different...sizes? lengths? how bout a couple pics? Im not sure how much psi we had, but our impact was worthless too, im telling you, get a fence post. The leverage will get it off in no time.

Sound like a plan, what about the bolts that connects the caliper to the spindles?

are they too tight as well? I guess if the steering wheel is turned "out", you could use the fence post method..
