the ones youve suggested are still retaining the oe brakes (cept the last few links)

honestly, I think you need more stopping power since you said you have more than 400hp.

that or some z32 front and rear calipers, pads, brembo rotors, ss lines, MC, etc. You can still retain the 4 lug if you get the rotors redrilled to 4 lug. The rear shoe will need to be replaced with z32 ones for the ebrake though.

well you could go with z32 brakes.

or just do pads, lines, and rotors on the stockers.

But what are you running at the track? mph?

honestly thats not that bad? I mean for all out autocross, road coarse, time attack etc yea it would suck because of brake fade on the weak, thin rotor'd stocker units.

But for daily driving its not bad.....70 mph is 70 mph no matter if you have 1000hp or 250hp.

But if he's only going 115-120 mph in the 1/4, stockers should be plenty.....not like he has to stop on a dime or anything.......

depending on what he has planed for his car......an upgraded pad, line and rotor could be fine. But if you have any hard spirited driving or road course type plans, just go with the z32 upgrade (or the q45 etc).

If you are just drag racing, I don't see why some new blank rotors, new pads and fresh, high-temp brake fluid wouldn't work. It's not like you are doing repeated high-speed stops without a break in between.

That kit price was high for a aftermarket Z32 set up. Just go with Z32 brakes around the car. I make 500 horses and I think they are going to be just fine.

I paid about 750-800 for my brakes all around (Rebuilt front Z32 30mm's, Z33 track rotors, bracket, pads, New rear calipers, brembo rotors, backing plates, cables, and all new hardware)

my car is daily driven and track car, just wanted to upgrade brakes since that and some other suspension is left on my to-do list/ probably willing to spend about 800-900 on the whole setup

which requires less modification. if i upgrade calipers wouldn't i have to do something with the e-brake?

There is a l lot of info if you search. But to use Z32 rears you will need the rotors, calipers and pads of coarse but you also need the shoe type backing plates and e brake cables. If its a S13 2+2 cables, if its an S14 use R33 cables.

I used standard Z32 cables on my S13 but it was a task to do.
