i replaced my brakes two days ago and replace the wear sensor but i cannot get the "brake pads worn" warning off my dashboard indicator is there something i can do to fix that? an also about the lucas oil stabilizer i have read many threads on this subject but no one every said directly that using lucas oil stabilzer is safe to use, so if it is good to use at my next oil change im going to use it with mobil 1. oh p.s. my car is a 94 infiniti q45t w/ 160k miles

Well did you make sure your front brakes wer'nt worn as well?

Did you make sure the brake pad sensor was plugged in?

DON'T USE ANY OIL ADDITIVES OTHER THAN TOP GRADE ONES YOU CAN'T FIND AT THE STORES!!!

There are many reasons you can find why not to use them if you search.

As I said then check the front sensor.

The sensor is grounded when the brake pads get to low and wear off the rubber surrounding the metal. When the metal is exposed it completes the ground and circuit.
